When my son was a baby, I would take my yoga mat, fold it over twice, and put a blanket on top, so I would have somewhere clean and soft to lay him. I carried this contraption all over my house, to my friends and families, to my mom and baby fitness classes...basically everywhere. What a pain!
During a late night breast-feeding session, I thought of some features that would make a great baby mat. It had to be easy carry and setup while holding a baby. It had to be easy to clean and look great after many washes. Most importantly, it had to be a comfortable and soothing place for a baby to play and grow. That is when I came up with the idea for the muffin mat!
I spent two years developing the muffin mat and finding the best fabrics. The best part was testing the muffin mat with my second baby. It was exactly what I hoped it would be and is one of the most useful baby products I own. I use it ALL THE TIME!
My daughter seems so happy on her muffin mat and I think it’s because she knows it’s her special spot. We hope you and your babies enjoy it as much as we do!
